Sustain LA Water Bar
B.Y.O.Bottle – Free Filtered Water
We strongly encourage all attendees to bring a reusable water bottle that can be filled for no charge of filtered water courtesy of Sustain LA, which leads food service establishments on their path toward economic stability, environmental stewardship and social equity. For more information, read the Zero Waste Success Story about TOTE’s partnership with SLA since the first annual TOTE in 2011. TOTE and SLA have worked hard to divert festival discards from landfills as well as educate people about resource recovery. Please help us to reduce waste and help us achieve our Zero Waste plan.
Kids Activities
Barnsdall Arts Sundays Art Workshop for Kids!
From 1pm-3pm. The art workshop will be based on Rangoli Art of India that utilizes food to make patterns and designs. We will be using lentils, and grains. Little Foodies Treasure Hunt
Follow the clues around the Taste of the Eastside event to gather fun prizes and fill your bellies with yummy treats. Treasure maps will be provided at the entrance.
Storytime
Gather around the picnic area to enjoy stories, songs and games inspired by FOOD! Every hour between 2-4pm
