Where do I park?
There are some 250 parking spaces on site that are first come first served. There is also extensive parking on San Fernando Blvd on Sundays.

When do online ticket sales end?

Are tickets available at the door?
If they are still available, tickets at the door are $55 for General Admission and $85 for VIP. However, our maximum capacity is 1,000 guests. Last year we completely sold out days before our event, so we highly recommend purchasing tickets beforehand
The VIP ticket includes (in addition to unlimited food tastes): 3 drink tickets, VIP food and mixology demos, early entry to event at 3 pm, exclusive VIP gift bag, front row demo seating, and priority parking (arrive between 2:45-4 pm)
Do I have to buy the food once I’m in the event?
No! You may try as many tastes as you’d like, your wristband is all you need!
Do I need to purchase additional food tasting tickets?
No. unlimited food tastes are included with all tickets.
Do I need to purchase tickets for drinks?
Wine, beer, and cocktails tickets are available for additional purchase. VIP admission includes 3 drink tickets.
What kind of tastings can I expect?
Vendors will serve sample size portions of 1- 2 different dishes, that they feel best represent their restaurant.
Do kids get unlimited food with their ticket?
Yes! Kids’ admission also gets them as many tastes as they would like.
What kind of beverages will be served at the event?
There will be wine, beer and cocktails available for purchase. There will also be non-alcoholic beverages available as well.
Will there be live music at the event?
Yes! We will have a live band along with some amazing DJ’s.
Where is the entrance to the event?
The entrance to the event is from the main rotunda by the parking lot.
Is there a special entrance if I bought tickets in advance?
All entrants will receive a wristband at the entrance, there will be an express line for advance ticket holders.
Are pets permitted at the festival?
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed at the event due to this being a food-related event.
Where is the closest metro stop and subway station?
Metro Local #84 stops right at the River Center at Ave 26/San Fernando. The closest train station is about 5 blocks away at Lincoln Heights/Cypress Park Station on the Metro Gold Line.
Does Taste of the Eastside have a volunteer program?
Yes! Taste of the Eastside is entirely staffed by volunteers and we are always looking for enthusiastic foodies to join us! Volunteers receive free entry and endless gratitude! Please contact us at email@example.com
Are proceeds from Taste of the Eastside donated to charity?
Yes, thank you for asking! 100% of our proceeds go to non-profits. Our main benefactor is Rose Scharlin Cooperative Nursery School, Los Angeles’ oldest parent run co-op founded in 1939. Other benefactors include The Pablove Foundation; helping kids with cancer live a love-filled life today and a cancer-free life tomorrow and Friends of the Los Angeles River is a non-profit group protecting the natural and historic heritage of the waterway
